About
A keepsake for families who go outside.
Park days run together. The good ones (the first time down the big slide, the walk where everyone found a red leaf) are easy to lose. Park Weldon Stamp Book gives each park day its own ink stamp, so a family can see its year outside at a glance and print it at the end.
What it is
A private record a grown-up keeps for the family: the parks you went to, when, who came, the weather and what you did. The site draws the stamps and counts the totals. The spotting cards are a free game for when you get there.
What it is not
- Not a park, a park guide or a park finder. You type in any park; we do not list parks, give directions, opening hours or reviews.
- Not a parks department, a government agency or any park passport program, and not affiliated with any park named Weldon.
- Not a charity or nonprofit. parkweldon.org is a small paid website from WeldonPC.com, in Ohio.
- Not a place for children's accounts. A grown-up fills it in; explorer names are optional first names or nicknames.
Seasons
Seasons in the book are the meteorological seasons of the Northern Hemisphere: spring is March to May, summer June to August, fall September to November, winter December to February.
Sister site
parkweldon.com is a different product from the same owner: a notebook for remembering where you parked a car.
